The project consists of a transdermal insulin delivery medical device with which we hope to create a complete solution that significantly improves the lives of the millions of people suffering from this disease.

We need you to contribute with

• Knowledge of finite element simulation (COMSOL, ANSYS...).
• Knowledge or experience in Ultrasound: Design, manufacture and characterization of transducers (FEA) in frequency ranges from 20 kHz to 2 MHz.
• English C1 level or similar

Your key responsibilities will include:

As head of the electronics area, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and validation of the electronic systems integrated into our patch. This includes:

• Design of analog and digital circuits
• Development of power electronics systems
• Design of electronics applied to ultrasound
• Design of closed-loop control systems with real-time monitoring and adaptation
• Integration of motor control, sensors, and user interface components (screens, buttons, etc.)
• Firmware development for microcontrollers
• Power supply and control of ultrasound transducers for drug delivery via sonophoresis
• Design of battery-powered electronic systems
• Miniaturization of circuits for wearables

Minimum requirements

• Degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or similar, with solid knowledge in analog and digital electronic circuit design.
• Senior experience in electronic design (minimum 5 years)
• Extensive knowledge of power electronics and analog and digital circuit design
• Hands-on experience with microcontrollers and embedded systems
• Experience in PCB design and manufacturing
• Knowledge of miniaturization and low-power systems

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Strategic Leadership: Co-define the product roadmap with management and act as the CTO's right hand in technical execution.
• Cross-functional Coordination: Ensure full synchronization between ultrasound equipment, delivery system, electronics, and bioengineering to meet product milestones.
• Hands-on execution: Actively lead advanced CAD design (SolidWorks/Fusion 360), prototyping, and material selection.

• Physical Product Experience: Proven track record of launching mechanical or electromechanical products to market.
